The SteriPEN Solar Charging Case has been developed to add versatility to your SteriPEN Adventurer water purifier. This optional clamshell carrying case includes an integrated solar recharger panel built into its' cover lid that can charge two CR123 rechargeable batteries (included) at a time. The case has also been designed to safely protect your Adventurer Purifier while traveling with its soft molded foam interior. Harness the Free POWER of the Sun!
Simple and easy to use anytime, anywhere there is sunlight. When using any CR123 rechargeable batteries and they're ready to be recharged, just snap the batteries into place inside the charging case, point the adjustible solar panel lid toward the sun to begin charging. Charging time varies from 2-5 days depending on the amount of sun and cloud cover. (Not recommended for use with non-rechargable CR123 batteries). In addition to solar power, the unit also includes a 110v AC wall adaptor for directly charging from any wall outlet (in foriegn countries, use appropriate power converter and/or wall plugs). Convienent built-in LED light shows when unit is charging or trickle charging then turns off when fully charged in approximately 4-6 hours.
